Got questions in the wake of the Brexit vote? Come to RESI next month for the answers
Our theme for RESI 2016 is ‘housing the next generation’ – a challenge that’s been thrown into sharp relief by the EU Referendum in June.
RESI 2016 will provide the first major platform for the residential property industry to discuss and debate all implications and opportunities in the post-Brexit vote landscape.
With the recent seismic political and economic shake-ups, the event couldn’t come at a better time for the industry.
What impact will the vote have on housing policy - and, more crucially, supply? What role modular construction? Will the burgeoning PRS sector be held back? How will development be financed? Who will be the game-changers?
Key speakers include housing minister Gavin Barwell and London deputy mayor for housing James Murray who will reveal how the government plans to deliver on its housing targets in these uncertain times.
Industry behemoth Tony Pidgley will be on a high-level panel debating the ‘London conundrum’ across the full housing spectrum from affordable to prime. Elsewhere, YO! founder Simon Woodroffe OBE will deliver a keynote session on how branding and innovation can be used to win new markets.
As well as getting your CPD hours in, there will also be the usual opportunities to network with the most important people in the UK residential market. On Monday 12th, you can take part in various activities in the activity day, on Tuesday 13th there is the fabulous Gala Dinner to look forward to, where we will be unveiling the winners of our 10 for 10 Award, sponsored by Mansion Global. If that wasn’t enough this year will see the inaugural RESIFest, hosted by Residential Land.
