RESI Conference 2017 :: Home
Welcome to the RESI Conference

At this year’s RESI Conference we will be assessing the political landscape in light of the shock outcome of the general election and replacement of Gavin Barwell by Alok Sharma as Housing Minister – and we are delighted to announce that Sharma is now confirmed as a headline speaker for this year's event.

What will this mean for the Housing White Paper and will it be kicked into the long grass?

The residential sector is asking questions after the Grenfell Tower tragedy and Property Week will try to deliver some of the answers – we have lined up some of the biggest names in property and politics to analyse what went wrong and what the industry can do to prevent another disaster.

New ideas and new people will be needed to navigate the chaotic landscape, which is why this year’s theme of Modern Methods of Disruption is so apt and why we will be running a stream of content dedicated to proptech for the first time! The Build-to-Rent sector will also be high on the agenda, as will Stamp Duty and the International Arena. At this year’s conference expect cutting-edge debate, unrivalled networking opportunities, new ideas, innovation and most importantly of all - challenge of the status quo. What's more, RESI 2017 has partnered with the Housing & Finance Institute, providing attendees the opportunity to meet one-on-one with local authorities from across the country. Find out more information on how to get involved.

Attended by some of the UK’s leading housebuilders and developers, Ensure you don’t miss out!

Proptech and emerging technologies within the property industry will be central to RESI 2017’s overarching theme of the Modern Methods of Disruption. This is why the conference will be the only place to discuss the impact of technology within the residential sector.

Taking place alongside the main conference agenda, the Proptech stream of content, in partnership with Osborne Clarke, will provide all attendees at RESI 2017 the opportunity to hear from the sector’s biggest disrupters on the biggest topics in the space. View the full proptech agenda
